charlotte duffy
Artistic Director & Founder
Charlotte completed her BA (HONS) in Dance at Bretton Hall Leeds University before working as a freelance dance artist. She has worked in Dance Education for over ten years, initially as a Lecturer and Course Leader at an FE College and currently as Head of Performing Arts at a local Academy. She also works as an examiner and educational consultant. She completed an NPQ in Senior Leadership in 2021.
As part of the One Dance UK Mentorship Programme in 2016 she was mentored by Farooq Chaudhry, Akram Khan Dance Company and Michelle Groves, The Royal Academy of Dance.
Passionate about community dance, Charlotte founded Sonder as a way to explore intergenerational dance with like minded individuals and provide further opportunities for dancers in her local area.
